Course Description
To attend this course, you must be a licensed medical professional or a DT student currently enrolled in the dual MAHM/DAHM program. Third and fourth year dually enrolled students and DAHM Proffesional Track students are required to attend this course, but do not need to register as it is part of your curriculum.
During this 1-day course students will observe Jeffrey Yuen make a diagnosis and treatment plan based off of a specific tongue, symptom and pulse presentation. Students will observe as Jeffrey Yuen breaks down the presentation to determine the best therapeutic approach. Treatment protocols demonstrated on designated attendees will include the insertion of acupuncture needles into therapeutically appropriate points with appropriate needling techniques to the conditions presented. Tui Na, cupping, moxa and other modalities will be demonstrated as appropriate to the case presentation.
