About the event
Course Description
Channel Approach to the Zheng-Primary Channels. Today schools and colleges of acupuncture teach the clinical applications of the primary channels based on the Zang-Fu and these channels are rarely understood as a sequence of physiology that originates from the Lung channel to the Liver channel. Outside of their circadian significance, most students and clinicians alike don’t realize that their sequence is also a progression of pathology with the channels addressing the issues of exogenous, endogenous, and constitutional factors. More importantly, the sequence also accounts for how the channels can deviate from the subsequent order through their Jiao-exchange/intersection with other channels at vital anatomical regions and acupoints of the body. This seminar will explore and provide participants with a deeper understanding of the primary channels with a different approach to their clinical use.
