Jennifer Jackson

Jennifer Jackson earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, in 2023. She also holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Rhode Island and worked in the field of international education for 15 years prior to moving to Asheville in 2019. As the director of a study abroad office for a small college in Massachusetts, Jennifer travelled to over 40 countries during her time as an international educator. She also co-led study abroad programs to Greece and Ireland, and developed and taught a 3-part course on cultural integration. Jennifer is licensed in North Carolina and has a private practice here in Asheville. She is passionate about teaching and learning and thrives in academic environments. In addition to being a faculty member, Jennifer is also the Dean of Students at DT. When she’s not at DT or practicing Chinese medicine, she can be found exploring the wilderness of WNC, dancing, or learning Improv.
