Sharon DeMocker

Dr. Sharon DeMocker trained in evidence-based Integrative Medicine with Dr. Andrew Weil before running her own integrative primary care clinic in Hendersonville for over a decade. She then served as the Medical Director for the War Related Illness and Injury Study Center at the Washington, DC VA Medical Center, leading one of three national multidisciplinary teams evaluating veterans with chronic, medically unexplained illnesses. She moved back to the Asheville area but continues consulting with the George Washington University Center for Integrative Medicine.


Dr. DeMocker has made significant contributions to the field of Integrative Medicine, including contributing to the textbook Integrative Geriatric Medicine by Dr. Mikhail Kogan, as part of the Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine Library series. She has also spoken on a panel at an Integrative Medicine conference with Dr. Patch Adams, and she has been featured on numerous radio shows and nationwide webinars on Integrative Medicine topics.
